Waves & Ammonites in Textured, Fused Glassware
Matthew Adkins' love of glass led him to a Ceramics and Glass degree, followed by a career in the architectural glass industry. Since setting up his own studio he has developed a style of highly textured and beautifully coloured glass art.
Each piece is hand made, and involves a lengthy process; from cutting and washing the glass, to carving the moulds and applying the colours. The pieces are then heated in a kiln at over 800 degreeC, for approximately 20 to 35 hours.
We have a range of art glass, from coasters to bowls; framed pieces and free-standing items.
